Liberty Temple Church ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit www.libertytemplechurch.com.

Information we collect

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:

• Fill out the "Plan a Visit" form
• Submit a contact form
• Sign up for email updates about new messages
• Submit a prayer request
• Apply to volunteer
• Make an online donation (processed by Pushpay)

This information may include: name, email address, phone number, and any message you send us. A prayer request may include health, family, or other sensitive details that you choose to share.

How we use it

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your questions and requests
• Welcome you before and after your first visit (if you give us an email address, we send one welcome note)
• Pray for you, and reach out only if you asked us to
• Send updates about new messages (only if you've opted in)
• Process donations through secure third-party processors
• Improve our website and ministry

Prayer requests

Prayer requests are read only by church staff and the prayer team. A request marked private is not shared beyond the prayer team. Nothing you write in a prayer request is ever published. Requests are kept so the team can keep praying and follow up; we remove answered requests over time, and we will delete yours right away if you ask.

What we don't do

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Period. Information you share with us stays with us.

Services that help us run the website

A few companies process information on our behalf, under their own privacy terms, so that the site can work:

• Google Firebase hosts the website and stores what you submit through our forms.
• Brevo delivers the emails we send, such as the welcome note after you plan a visit.
• YouTube plays our messages and live stream. Videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced player, which avoids tracking cookies unless you play a video.
• Google Maps shows the map on the homepage and the Plan a Visit page. Loading the map tells Google your device's internet address, as with any map.
• Pushpay handles online giving on its own website. We never see or store your card details.
• If you tap "Notify me about new messages," Google's push service stores a device token so we can send that one kind of notification. Turn it off in your browser settings at any time.
• The chat bubble answers common questions from a built-in list. If we switch on its AI helper, questions it cannot answer from the list are sent to an AI provider to generate a reply; we do not send your name or contact details with them.

Cookies & local storage

We do not use advertising cookies. Your browser keeps a small amount of storage so the site works offline and loads quickly. We also keep simple, anonymous usage counts, such as how many times a message was played or a give button was tapped, using a random identifier stored in your browser. That identifier is never connected to your name or any personal information, and we do not share usage data with third parties.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Know what information we have about you
• Request corrections to your information
• Ask us to delete your information, including a prayer request
• Opt out of any communications at any time

To exercise any of these rights, contact us or email the address below, and we will take care of it within a few days. To stop email updates about new messages, reply to any of them or write to us and we will remove you.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including Firebase's secure infrastructure, access limited to church staff who sign in, and checks that reject malformed submissions. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. Use common sense when sharing sensitive information online.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
